He has refused to condemn the smarmy, twisted conflagrations of Nixon Minion John O'Neill and his band of republican Blood Money Grubbers who, in their attempt to discredit John Kerry's service record, have in fact seriously impuned the integrity of the entire US Navy. LINK
Yesterday, Senator John McCain implored George W. to strongly condemn O'Neill and his thugs, but White House spokesman Scott McClellan turned a golden opportunity to show administration support for the US Navy into an attack on moveon.org and actforvictory.org. LINK

Poor Elderly Cancer Patients...
The Bush administration can save $530 million (US population: 292,287,454; You do the math!) by cutting Medicare payments to doctors who, themselves, pay for the nurses, equipment, and office space necessary to provide cancer treatments as part of their medical practices. LINK

Teachers...
Teachers have been easy targets for Republicans for over 50 years. Reforming education has never had a single thing to do with learning; it's merely a way for Republican candidates to rattle their "I Care About The Children" sabers, attack people in a profession that requires a lifetime of sacrifice, and create business opportunities (in the form of curriculum and testing programs) for their fellow rightwing cronies (like Marvin Bush). Bush's budget will result in massive nationwide police layoffs (NY has already had to cut 3000 officers during W.'s reign). LINK

American Citizens...
He has demanded (until he got caught yesterday) that people sign loyalty oaths in order to attend his "campaign rallies." (It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the personal info collected on these oaths will be used to solicit campaign donations.)
An endorsement form provided to the Journal by Random says: "I, (full name) ... do herby (sic) endorse George W. Bush for reelection of the United States." It later adds that, "In signing the above endorsement you are consenting to use and release of your name by Bush-Cheney as an endorser of President Bush."
A Journal reporter, who is a registered Democrat, called to inquire about a ticket Thursday afternoon. He was asked for his name, address and driver's license number but was not told over the telephone that he would need to sign any endorsement form. He got the news after arriving at the Bush-Cheney office.
Random and Wade said they were also not informed of the requirement until they showed up at the office.
Another Journal employee, who is a registered Republican, visited the office Thursday morning and got a ticket without being asked to sign the form. LINK
