Random Crazies & Their Cowardly Acts

Records are made to be broken, right? The Virginia Tech killer thought he'd go down in history as the biggest bad-ass of his day, right?

Guess again, coward!

BU student sends out email threatening to recreate Va. Tech tragedy

BOSTON
-- Police say a part-time Boston University student sent out an email threatening to recreate the tragedy at Virginia Tech.

This morning's Herald reports that 20-year-old Andrew Rosenblum threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend and some of her classmates.

According to the police report, Rosenblum also said he would turn the gun on himself.

Police say he could be charged with threatening to do bodily harm as early as today.

No one can fully protect me from the random crazies out there. And no one seems to be able to convince these suicidal maniacs that someone will always come along to best their bloody "records," thus rendering their killing sprees just numbers in a future timeline.

This latest bloodbath at Virginia Tech could've been a watershed moment for 24/7 cable news coverage. Talking heads could've used their air time to educate the random crazies out there about how fleeting their infamy will be and how cowardly their acts will be viewed in perpetuity.

It takes no courage to mow down unarmed kids. And it's just plain stupid to think you'll be hailed as the most vicious killer in American history... when, in reality, that "fame" will last no longer than a blink of history's eye.

Of course, these killers won't know that they'll go down in history as random crazies...

Because they always take the chicken shit coward's way out: Suicide.
