Run, Multiple-Choice Mitt! Run!

Mitt (multiple-choice on abortion) Romney is running for president, and he's raised more cash this quarter than both McCain and Giuliani.

So far, no corporate-owned media outlet has reported on the source(s) of Mitt's money...

They probably don't want to get into that whole "Mitt, The Mormon" thing quite yet.

CNN, however, had no problem jumping into that "Mormons miffed over coffee-swilling angel image," a story about some coffee shop in Taylorsville, UT selling shirts where coffee is being poured into the Angel Moroni's trumpet.

As it turns out, the Mormons were actually miffed because the image of the Angel Moroni is trademarked.

"They've been the best-selling T-shirts we've ever done," said Just Add Coffee co-owner Ed Beazer.

The church informed Beazer that the angel's image is a registered trademark.

"If they provide proof, we're going to comply," Beazer said. "We don't want to break any laws or anything."

Just Add Coffee put the image on greeting cards about a year ago and started selling the shirts before Christmas. Moroni also appeared in ads that caught the church's attention.

Church spokesman Scott Trotter said the image is a trademark.

Anyway, it looks like Multiple-Choice Mitt and Moroni are in for a bumpy ride as the presidential campaign season heats up.

Coffee, anyone?
