Obama Really Is For Change! (His explanations Change Almost Daily)

Why is Barack Obama still citing anything posted by Matt Freakin' Drudge (not exactly a reputable source-- Hell, the lest reputable source of them all)?

And why do Obama's stories always change? Take a look at how Obama's "Somali clothing" story flip flops from a "dead issue" to "Clinton wants you to be afraid" stump speech talking point:

February 26, 2008 (Ohio debate)

"SEN. OBAMA: Well, first of all, I take Senator Clinton at her word that she knew nothing about the photo. So I think that's something that we can set aside."

March 10, 2008 (Jackson, Mississippi)

“When in the midst of a campaign you decide to throw the kitchen sink at your opponent because you’re behind,” he said, “and your campaign starts leaking photographs of me when I’m traveling overseas wearing the native clothes of those folks to make people afraid"

Sidebar: I'm still trying to figure out how Clinton supposedly managed to "leak" a previously published photo, aren't you?

Wait. There's more...

Look how many times Obama's NAFTA/Canada story has changed...

2/27/08 – ‘No conversations have taken place’ with the Canadian government on NAFTA. “Earlier Thursday, the Obama campaign insisted that no conversations have taken place with any of its senior ranks and representatives of the Canadian government on the NAFTA issue.”

2/27/08 – Obama advisor just said ‘hello.’ “Goolsbee: Canada’s consul general in Chicago contacted him ‘at one point to say ‘hello’ because their office is around the corner.”

2/28/08 - Rice: ‘There had been no contact.’ “The Canadian ambassador issued a statement that was absolutely false. There had been no contact. There had been no discussions on NAFTA. So we take the Canadians at their word…period.”

2/29/08: Sen. Obama: ‘It did not happen.’ Anchor: “So, completely inaccurate, did not happen, end of discussion.” Sen. Obama: “It did not happen.” Watch the video.

3/04/08 (Memo surfaces): "When asked about his past denials, Mr. Obama said he had responded with what he knew.

That was the information I had at the time,” he said."

3/10/08: Sen. Obama: The meeting did happen, they did discuss NAFTA, but advisor just said Obama wanted to make NAFTA ’stronger for U.S. workers.’ “So here’s what happens. You’ve got one of my economic advisors goes and visits a Canadian embassy and they’re asking him questions and he says, ‘Well, Senator Obama isn’t planning to repeal NAFTA, but he wants to amend it to make it stronger for U.S. workers.’ The Canadian embassy writes it up as, ‘Well, maybe Obama is not as tough on NAFTA as you might think.’ And the Clintons start waving this and saying, ‘See? Actually, he’s the one.’”

Sorry, but Obama is simply not ready to deal with the press, much less Republicans; and his advisers need some on-the-job training, too.

Maybe 8 years as vice president aren't such a bad idea, after all.

Oh, yeah. I forgot.

Obama doesn't do vice presidencies. In fact, in his "I scoff at the VP idea" pronouncement, he has the nerve to accuse Clinton of "doublespeak."

Now that's audacity, Obama.
