Obama's Claude Rains Moment
Longtime readers know that I've featured many Republicans' Claude Rains Moments over the years on this blog. Alas, today's moment comes from a Democrat.
Would you believe Rev. Wright could fool Obama for 20 years?
Would you believe it took what Wright said just on Monday --and not those other 20 years worth of audacity-- for Obama to finally get angry?
"I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle that we saw yesterday," he said.
Obama was shocked and outraged, I tell you! Shocked! Outraged!
Obama has now washed his hands of his spiritual mentor and wants you to concentrate on hope, change, and unity ponies.
However, Indiana votes next Tuesday, and Obama has a big problem there:
”How can you go to a church for 20 years and not heard your minister say something off-color? Either he’s heard it and is lying about it, or he’s lying about going to church as much as he does,” said Demmin. “In which case he’s not the Christian he says he is.”
Obama sure gets fooled easily by his long-time friends, doesn't he?
Looks like Tony Rezko isn't the only questionable character who can fool Obama for 20 years.
Best bar bet in the world: Delilah didn't do it.
Judges 16:19-- And she made him (Samson) sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head.
