Labor Secretary Rushed To
Secure (Cessna-Free) Location

I have it on the best authority (from my neighbor, who works there) that The Secretary of Labor was rushed to a secure location during the Cessna Scare this week.

Which means that at least one of George W.'s cabinet secretaries was in the loop, unlike our sorry excuse for a president.

I can just see it now...

MIB #1: "Jumpin' Jehosophat! There's a tiny Cessna headed for the White House! Quick! If we don't save the Secretary of Labor, all will be lost!"

MIB #2: "And George W. doesn't need to know about it. We don't want to spoil his mid-day bike ride."

Hm. If the Secretary of Labor is that important, chances are the rest of the BushCo cabinet secretaries would be just as important, right?

Will anyone in our corporate-owned press take the time to find out?

Not holding my breath.

I might as well ask if success will spoil Rock Hunter.

Here's the truly pitiful part...

The workers at the Labor Dept. WEREN'T evacuated.

They don't count.

And I'll bet the ranch that the workers in the rest of the cabinet-level offices and buildings weren't evacuated, either.

By the way, have you read the transcript of the White House Press Briefing on the Cessna shenanigans?

You should. It's hilarious!

Oh, well. At least we now know who's important in DC.

Heavy, heavy sigh.
