Today's 2 Words: October Surprise

'Tis a puzzlement.

I've spent the better part of the day researching Republican quotes about Senator Barack Obama.

The result: Almost zip.

The only report remotely related turned out to be a generic news story about who wears a flag pin and who doesn't. And even then, no one spoke word one against Obama's decision not to wear one.

And that was a FOX News story from Oct. 6, 2007.

Why the weird Republican cone of silence surrounding Obama?

With McCain cozying up to George "Macaca" Allen at CPAC today, surely they're not afraid of insulting African-Americans. And why do those Republicans, like Virginia Lt. Governor Bolling, say things like, "I think he is wrong on almost every major issue, but he is a new face, a fresh face with a very appealing message;" yet they'll bash the female Democratic candidate with impunity?

Today's 2 Words: October Surprise.

If you've yet to cast a ballot in the Democratic primary, think about potential October Surprises before you do.

And who can best handle anything Republicans roll out this October.

I mean it, damn it.
