Bush Afraid Of Germans With Little Flags On Sticks

What a disgraceful coward!

I'm sure that the State Dept.'s translators were quick to alert the Secret Service that the Teutonic prefix "Ger" means spear, and "Mann" means man... which would make the word German mean "Man with spear."

Naturally, SS agents must protect the president by confiscating the spears...

A U.S. secret service agent, right, confiscates miniature flagpoles for security reasons prior to U.S. President George W. Bush's arrival in Stralsund, Germany, on Thursday, July 13, 2006. Bush is stopping to talk with his newest European ally before heading to the Group of Eight summit to tackle a host of thorny problems including Iran, North Korea, and the Middle East.

Truly heavy sigh, y'all.

Well, y'know: The terra-ists might convince the Germans to all throw their pointy sticks at the President at the same time.

Someone could lose an eye!
